Lavender is a great herb. Taken as a powder it is a great way to fight haemophilus and clostridium bacteria. The essential oil is excellent for clostridium including tetanus and gas gangrene and other clostridium species.

Reduces NMDA receptor and SERT activity [1].

Gynecomastia Scare

3 boys developed gynecomastia after using soaps that contained essential oils [2]. The true cause of the gynecomastia was actually likely Triclosan which is a common ingredient in antibacterial soaps that is a known endocrine disruptor and can cause listeria pituitary overgrowth that causes increased prolactin and gynecomastia.
